WELCOME!

Welcome to UPDATE #3 for the  2014 Marriott USMS Summer Nationals in College Park, MD. We're less than two weeks away from Summer Nationals. Needless to say, your local host committee is in overdrive right now, taking care of the countless meet to-dos, but everyone in the local community is thrilled about your imminent arrival. Everyone at the Eppley Recreation Center is ready for good times and fast swims!

Please note: Email Update #1 stated the 400 freestyle would be seeded by time while email Update #2 stated it would be seeded by age group. Update #1 was correct. We apologize for the error in Update #2.

SHUTTLE SCHEDULE AND ROUTES
Shuttle bus

The shuttle service will be available starting Wednesday at 3 p.m. and run until 7 p.m. that evening. The bus will run approximately every 30-45 minutes. Please consult the bus schedule for exact departure times. Please note that there are two shuttle routes (A and B). Each swimmer should make sure they are getting on the correct shuttle. Both shuttle routes are on busy streets and swimmers should plan to allow plenty of time for travel as it may take the bus a little longer to complete its route. Stops at hotels will be brief (1-3 minutes) and shuttles will leave on time based on the scheduled times for the pool and hotels. It's ultimately the swimmers' responsibility to get to the pool well before their events. Times for departure of shuttles from the pool and hotels will be available at the pool (Solutions Table at Registration) and at each hotel front desk.

A shuttle pass may be purchased for $30 at check-in. You will not need a pass to get to the pool the first time you come from your hotel, but you will need one to return.

FOOD

If you purchased the Gold Medal Sponsorship, you'll receive a hospitality pass for the entire meet. The hospitality area is located in pool storage (diving board end), to the right of where you enter the pool. Breakfast, lunch, and between-meal snacks and refreshments will be served during competition days.

If you didn't purchase a pass, you still have options. The Sneakers cafe and the concessions area (in spectator seating) will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day of competition. The campus food truck will also be available in front of the facility periodically during the event.
ON-DECK COACHES NEEDED

You'll receive a free T-shirt and hospitality passes for the days that you volunteer.
