The Y offers a variety programs for families to learn, grow and spend time together, including family Zumba every Friday night, open family swim time, and Kids Night Out the 3rd Friday of every month!

FALL BACK INTO SHAPE CHALLENGE

Last month 29 members participated in the ActivTrax challenge that ran from September 1-30.  Participants were awarded 100 points for each ActivTrax strength workout completed, 1 point for each minute of cardio workout completed, and 500 points for each pound lost.  The goal was to earn 2500 points.

Congratulations to all participants who are losing excess weight and improving their muscle tone.  We are aware that ActivTrax members Victor Roach and Anisa Watkins have made excellent progress. Victor weighed 293 pounds on June 1st and 242.9 pounds on September 24th.  That's a loss of 50 pounds. Anisa started losing weight on July 1st and has lost 35 pounds and feels much better at her new weight.

We look forward to another challenge in the near future and more success stories from our members.
