 I'm always grateful when this list is blissfully short: - Virbac recalled 6 lots of Iverhart Plus Chewables. The recalled lots may not fully protect dogs in the upper third of each weight range against heartworms. So check your supply & contact your vet. DO NOT let Pup's heartworm prevention lapse. If it has, do not resume prevention until your dog tests negative for heartworms via a blood test @ your vet's.
- Mold in Breeder's Choice Active Care dog biscuits.
- Salmonella in Natura pet foods. This recall has greatly expanded to include all dry dog & cat food products and treats with expiration dates prior to and including March 24, 2014. Brands affected: California Natural, EVO, Health Wise and Innova.
- Great Life "withholds" buffalo dog foods due to unexplained odor.
- Salmonella in Vitae bird foods.
- Showmaster lamb feed recalled.
