Prophets, Priests, & Kings [THIS WEEK]

PARENTS: We want to inform you that this Sunday we will be look ing at 1 Samuel 15. We encourage you to read through it ahead of time so you can determine whether or not your child is ready to deal with &/or discuss this content. Our belief is that this should be your decision as a parent, not ours. We want to support you!

It has been incredibly encouraging how so many of you have shared with us how this current sermon series has blessed and challenged you. We are praying that the Lord continues to powerfully transform our hearts and minds through His Word.
Marriage Seminar at The Brook
On Friday, February 13, from 12:30 - 4:30 PM, The Brook is hosting a marriage seminar sponsored by Eagle Consulting (The Enrichment Center) entitled "The Art of Falling in Love." Internationally-known inspirational speaker and best-selling author, Joe Beam, will be leading the seminar. He will talk about the four steps to falling in love, staying in love, and renewing lost love. The seminar is for those who are "single and wanting to know more about creating and sustaining healthy relationships, and for married couples wanting to keep that spark, renew that spark, or better understand the ups and downs of marriage." For people who attend The Brook, the cost is $40 per couple ($20 for individuals). All proceeds will go to Wild Hearts in Action. To register, call Eagle Consulting at 256-716-0811 or 256-341-0811, or contact them at www.counselingtec.com/contact-us/. Be sure to mention that you attend The Brook.
Spruce up for Spring Day
On Saturday, March 14 from 8AM to 1PM, we'll be having a work day at The Brook to do some much needed cleaning up, fixing up, and sprucing up for spring. We need people willing to help with cleaning and organization of indoor areas, cleaning up of outdoor areas, pressure washing, mulching the playground, and doing some other interior and exterior maintenance. If you can help that day, please contact Nancy Smith. Let us know that you're available and where you'd like to help. Donuts will definitely be involved!
