Rookery Pub Fine Dining

Valentine's Weekend at the Rookery

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, falling this year on Sunday, February 14. And the Rookery is here to help you celebrate, with an all new five course special dinner. Seating is limited so call now for best choice of available seating.

If you happen to miss out on reservations for Sunday, or if it's simply better for your schedule, you also can reserve our special dinner for Saturday evening instead.

But bear in mind it's also President's Day Weekend, always one of the busiest of our winter season. So don't delay if you really want to wow your sweetie this year. We're guessing you'll be suitably rewarded. Because the Rookery's special five course dinner is especially designed to fuel the passion the occasion suggests.

Snowshoe Hike to the Rookery
Adult Naturalist Program
Friday, February 12

Join Naturalist Emily Stone for a moderately strenuous adventure to the inspiration behind our name just off the Rookery's property in the national forest. Look for tracks and signs, talk about the local natural communities, and view a great blue heron rookery. Dress for the weather. Meet at 3:30 PM for the snowshoe hike. Return to the Rookery for a warm drink and optional dinner afterwards. Call the Cable Natural History Museum at 715-798-3890 to register by February 11. Snowshoes are available to borrow by calling ahead. $10 member/$15 non-member, includes your first drink.

Special Dining Hours

The Rookery will be closed on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7. But keep us in mind for next year if you'd like to host your own private Super Bowl party, minus all the cooking and cleanup!

At this time we plan to be open the Wednesday of Birkie week (February 17), ASSUMING sufficient advance reservations. So call now if your party of skiers would be interested in dining with us following your pre-Birkie warmup run.

Remember the Rookery is now open early on Saturdays and Sundays (except Feb 7) with a special early pub burger menu available from 3 to 5 PM thru March 13.
