Check Out Our New Dinner Selections
The Rookery is pleased this week to announce a few tasty new additions and modifications to our winter menu.
We're now featuring fresh Lake Superior whitefish for one thing, with choice of two delectable options, including the popular Mediterranean style we've used for walleye in the past. And speaking of fish, if you've not yet ordered our pan seared northern pike you really should give it a try. Our food distributor offered the Rookery exclusive procurement rights to northern in our area and it's been a big hit among those who've sampled it, many pronouncing it superior even to walleye.
If you're a meat lover, you'll be happy to hear we've brought back our bison burger, now with grilled peppers and a roasted garlic aļoli, served on a pretzel bun. We've also changed up our bison and beef steak preparations just a bit, and added a new bison & beef tartare appetizer.
Not to ignore the soup and salad connoisseurs among the Rookery faithful, we've also added an awesome roasted beet salad. Plus we'll now be featuring an ever changing house made soup du jour.

We know. You've been skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling all day. And now you're starving. And just a little bit cold. You need to refuel. But you simply can't wait until dinnertime. And you want something more appealing than frozen pizza.
No worries...it's the Rookery to your rescue! We're trying something new on weekends for the remainder of the winter. An early bird pub menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 to 5 PM. Preview it
