It's Finally Snowing in Cable!
Winter sports enthusiasts and Northwoods business owners alike were getting worried. Would winter ever present itself this year? But the first significant snowfall finally came earlier this week, just in time to give the Cable area a beautiful white Christmas gift. And now it continues to snow, with four more inches on the ground already this morning and even more expected over the next 24 hours.
So pack up your skis, snowshoes, or snowmobiles and come enjoy the remainder of the holiday season where you really wanted to be all along. And while you're at it, don't forget to make your New Year's Eve reservations at the Rookery!
P.S. We still have several lodge rooms available throughout the holiday week, including on New Year's Eve. Wouldn't it be nice to leave your car in the lot and simply stroll upstairs to a comfy bed after a great evening of wining and dining?
Last Call for a Lobster New Year's Eve
We're putting in our order for fresh Maine lobster on Monday. So if you wanna be sure to get yours on New Year's Eve, you'd best call in your reservations sometime this weekend. After that you could be out of luck. Because when they're gone they're gone. It's not like we can run down to Lake Namakagon at the last minute to pull a few extras from our secret lobster traps.
You say not everyone in your New Year's Eve party loves lobster as much as you do? No worries! This year for the first time we're also featuring several options for non-shellfish eaters for each of our fabulous five courses on New Year's Eve.
So call now for best choice of remaining seating (715-794-2062). And when you do, please be prepared to specify menu choices for everyone in your party.
