Molly and the Danger Band
This is it! The 16th and final live outdoor music performance in this season's Summer Sunday Serenades series at the Rookery happens this weekend. And what a finale we have in store for you.
Molly and the Danger Band closed out our music season last year on an absolutely gorgeous final Sunday in September. They're back to do the same again this year. And it's feeling like darn good karma, as the weather forecast for this coming Sunday is exactly identical to how I described it in last year's music finale email: "mid-60s and mostly clear." All I had to do was cut and paste!
Not only that, but the fall colors all around the Rookery should be stunning once again. Fact is, we couldn't have ordered more favorable conditions at the end of September for our final outdoor music concert of the season. Just lucky? Or good karma? Either way, I probably should seek a long-term contract to have Molly and the boys close out our music season EVERY year!
And just like last year, we're expecting the combination of an awesome band, fantastic weather, and one final outdoor concert of the year to bring music fans out in droves. So you're gonna want to get here early! And if not, be sure to bring along your own chairs or a blanket. Or else be prepared to stand. Because it's likely to be a packed house and we're bound to run out of seating.
As always the Rookery grill fires up at 1:30 and the music begins at 2. There's no cover charge though gratuities for the musicians are most appreciated.
Molly and the Danger Band. Sunday. Live. Outdoors. Only at the Rookery!
The Rookery will continue to be open 7 nights for dinner thru Monday, October 14. Beginning October 15 we'll be open 5 nights (closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
Our Saturday lunch service is over for the season and our Sunday patio grill menu concludes with the upcoming final weekend of live outdoor music.
