
Councilman Sanchez Recommends Youth Curfew in Providence

Council Says Goodbye to Veteran Councilman
Joseph DeLuca, who served on the Providence City Council for 20 years, from 1991 to 2011, passed away after a long illness on July 1, 2012. Council members past and present honored his memory, and the Council made an official minute of his life a permanent record of the city. |
Council Creates Two Special Committees to Focus on Education, Healthy Communities & Women
Two subcommittees were recently expanded to become special committees of the Council-the Special Committee on Education, and the Special Committee on Healthy Communities & Women.

Ward 6 - Streetside Neighborhood Safety Chat Councilman Michael Correia has been holding monthly "neighborhood safety chats" in the Manton, Mount Pleasant, and Olneyville neighborhoods.
