A Message from the CEO

Dear Members, Volunteers, Parents, Alumnae, & Friends of GSEP,

Travel the world. Create and launch your own rocket. Solve a mystery. Spend a weekend playing with ponies.

Your possibilities are endless with Girl Scouts! Just check out the latest Spark magazine to see all the fun adventures at your fingertips.

Spark is in the mail and you should receive your copy soon! Or, if you can't wait (I don't blame you), check out the online version of Spark now. Learn about what amazing things your sister Scouts have been up to and get a head start on planning your fall and winter activities. Online Registration for all programs opens August 4.

Where has your Spark magazine been? Snap a photo of you with Spark and we'll share it! Send us an email, post on our Facebook page, or tweet us. And be sure to tell us which programs you're most excited for. If you're like me, you might have hard time choosing between all the great activities!

Yours in Scouting,

Natalye Paquin

Calling all Early Birds: Your patch is on its way!
If you re-registered for the 2014-2015 Girl Scout year before June 30, expect to receive your Early Bird patch in the mail in the next month!

Show off your patch! Ask your parent or guardian for permission and take a picture with the patch. Then email the photo to us with the subject line "Early Bird Patch Photo". We must receive your photo by September 15, 2014, to share it online.

Haven't registered for the next Girl Scout year yet? You won't want to miss all the fun in the fall/winter. Check out all the upcoming programs in Spark and be sure to register today!
Are you ready to dive into NAR?
Make sure your troop is signed up to participate in the Nuts About Reading sale, September 15- October 27. This year's sale is better (and simpler) than ever with new, cool items like digital photobooks that pull photos right from social media and an online sale option so you can participate 100% online!

NAR is a fun and easy way to raise money for the upcoming Girl Scout year. Make sure your troop registers a "Troop Nuts about Reading Manager" here to dive into NAR! Questions? Email us at [email protected]

Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout

Calling all Girl Scout Alumnae! Do you have a talent or skill that you want to share with others? Are you looking for volunteer opportunities, but only have a limited amount of time? We're putting together a resource database of talented and passionate adult volunteers and alumnae who can share their talents with others through workshops or by helping a troop for a few hours. This is a great (and convenient) way for you to have a direct and lasting impact on our girls!

If you are interested in adding your name to our database, email Tiffany Davis, Learning and Support Specialist, with your name, topic of interest, and the best way to contact you.
