Welcome!

Welcome to Holmes School and the 2015/2016 school year!  To our new parents and to those who are returning, we hope you find the Holmes community to be one that is warm, inclusive and of course, fun!  We look forward to reconnecting and to another great year together.

The Holmes-to-Holmes (H2H) is your electronic source for school-related news and events.  Please take a few minutes to review its content.  As we gear up for the fall, take note of the following for your calendar:

Thursday, September 3 from 5-7 pm: the always-enjoyable Holmes Back to School Picnic is around the corner featuring music from David Jason Entertainment and delicious Nick's pizza!  Please complete the attached flyer and return to school by Tuesday, September 1.

Thursday, September 3 from 9:15-10:15 (Grades 3, 4 and 5)
Tuesday, September 8 from 9:15-10:15 (Grades K, 1 and 2):  join us for parent coffee, meet members of your Holmes PTO, and learn all about Holmes programs and the ways you can get involved.  Younger children always welcome.

Wednesday, September 9: bring your best smile as it's Holmes School Picture day!

Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 pm: join us for the first of four (4) PTO meetings and the opportunity to listen to and meet with our new Superintendent of Schools Dr. Dan Brenner.

Thursday, September 24 from 7-9 pm: book that babysitter!  Check-out your child's classroom and meet your child's teacher during Holmes Back to School Night.

Friday, September 25: the second annual, hugely successfully and wildly popular Holmes School Walk-a-Thon is back!  Details below.

Friday, November 6: save-the-date for our annual Holmes Party/Fundraiser (parents only)!

Should you have questions or concerns throughout the year, please give us a call or send us an email.  Our "door" is always open.

With big smiles -

Your 2015/16 PTO Co-Chairs
