Timely Tips End of 2013:

Access to My Productivity Articles Archive and Archive of ALL Timely Tips Issues Back to 2004!

*And a listing of all apps featured in both Timely Tips and my popular Smart Phone Success & Terrific Tablets program

December 2013

How many of you are trying to close up shop for a nice holiday break?  I am too!  But DON'T delete this e-mail!  It provides you with access to a TON of productivity tips, tricks, apps, and articles that you can use and share to increase your productivity, reduce distraction, better prioritize, and get so much more out of your technology.

It is my gift to you for being a Timely Tips subscriber -- regardless if you are brand new or have been with me since the start way back in 2004.  (And if you are new, you can dive into this deep collection of productivity info over the holidays, and hopefully find several new tips to start off 2014 in the best possible manner.)

I have also added something new -- access to my Bonus Productivity PDF Article archive.  I send this out to program attendees after every single one of my client sessions now.  It gives them a reference tool following my program to reiterate the most important points, as well as gives them access to some of my content in other areas they may not yet have been exposed to.  I have put this directly below.  My strong recommendation is to review this first -- there are several productivity "white papers" and "tip sheets", and if you see one that is focused in an area of opportunity for you, start there!  I have provided too much info, so be a smart shopper and use the info that has highest value to you right now.

On the right, I have also provided a list of all of the Apps of the Month I have covered the last couple of years.  This could be a "quick hitter" for you, especially if you get a new phone or tablet over the holidays!  (And if you want an even deeper tutorial on setting up that phone or tablet, one of the tip sheets I'm providing below is the full handouts text of my Smart Phone Success & Terrific Tablets session.)

Enjoy all of these goodies, starting now!  ;-)
Access to Bonus Productivity Articles, Tip Sheets, and White Papers
This is ALWAYS the place to look for your Timely Tip!

As I said above, I provide these to those interested following nearly all of my public sessions now.  Here's the link to text of the actual e-mail I send to them (yes, it is a fully automated e-mail!)  And, if you have already received this article in the past, take another look -- I have recently added a couple new articles to this list!

And here is a link to my Timely Tips Archive.

You can go back into 2008's issues using this archive, and if you use the "End of 2008 Gift" issue, you can get access to a 90-page e-book PDF that compiles the first four years of Timely Tips, effectively taking you back to its inception in 2004.

Please note:  I did find a broken link to the January 2013 issue in the archive.  I have contacted my provider to get this corrected, but in the meantime, here is a link to a PDF copy of the original e-mail of that issue. (Let me know if you find any other broken links.)
February 20th -- A Full Day of Me Near Lansing, Michigan

Are you a glutton for punishment???  ;-)

Just wanted to give you a quick note that Michigan Works! is sponsoring me to deliver a full day of programming (well, until 3:30 p.m. at least!) on two of my most popular programs:  Taming the E-mail Beast, and Smart Phone Success & Terrific Tablets.  Taming E-mail will be the focus of the morning session (and I'll even cover a few of my best Outlook and Google Suite tips for tools outside of e-mail like Calendar & Tasks), and then, after lunch, we'll do a deep dive on the proper configuration of your smart phones & tablets (primarily Android & IOS) for enhanced personal and professional productivity.

If you've been looking for a public program option, here it is!

Here's a link to the program information and registration page.

Have a wonderful holiday!

It has been an amazing year for the Dean family.  New house.  New office.  Record number of client events.  A couple basement floods and a near fire. (We survived those nicely though.)  I thank all of you for your continuing support -- it is pretty amazing to think that this little idea I had nearly 10 years ago has now influenced literally thousands of people and far more than 150 individual client organizations.  Thanks for allowing me to not have a real job, while I keep helping you hopefully do your job a little better/faster/smarter.

Now that the move is over and we are pretty much fully settled in, I'm hoping to actually take some of my most popular programs and get them available in different formats.  More news on that in upcoming issues.  And definitely keep me in mind for your company meetings, workshops, conferences, and events in 2014.
Enjoy this time with your family and friends.

Until next month, Stay Timely!

Sincerely,

Randy Dean
