Enjoy a tasteful tour of Johnny Appleseed Country with a host of mouth-watering events! Come for the beer, stay for the bonfire at Fruitlands Museum's beer tasting on November 2nd. Gardner Ale House serves a wild game beer dinner on November 7th, and Lanni Orchards dishes up a pie tasting on the 16th and 17th. You can enter the home-made beer or cider competition at the Annual Thanksgiving Harvest Festival at Red Apple Farm on the 23rd and 24th, and stock your holiday pantry with locally-produced foods. | |  The Annual Thanksgiving Day Artisan Festival will be held November 29th & 30th at Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury! Nantucket Noel will be celebrated November 28-December 31! Holiday festivities begin the day after Thanksgiving with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Caroling. Everyone gathers at the top of Main Street to watch over 100 Christmas trees come alive with color and light. Caroling follows, filling the air with sounds of an old-fashioned Christmas. The community comes together to decorate trees for the 40th Christmas Stroll the following weekend, December 6-8. Come join us for Nantucket Noel! See New England's largest and most whimsical display of holiday trees November 23-December 7 at the Methuen Festival of Trees! Now in its 20th Emerald Year, the festival includes breathtaking holiday trees, raffles (enter to win your own tree!) auction, food, and a treasure hunt (winners will be entered to win a trip to Ireland). Proceeds from this event help to fund the preservation of Methuen's and Merrimack Valley's historical sites and monuments.

| |  South Shore Conservatory's Concert Series presents Vive la Musique at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 17th. Winds Department Co-Chairs lead the brass and woodwind concert, featuring selections from French composers, leaving the audience "enchanté!" This instrumental concert offers repertoire, weaving instruments in beautiful performances, highlighting fine musicianship. Following the performance, the audience is invited stay, enjoy refreshments, and visit with the musicians. South Shore Conservatory is located at One Conservatory Drive in Hingham.
