SGR Repeal Is Moving Forward.
Make Your Voice Heard NOW!

We need all physicians to take action by calling, emailing or tweeting Congress now.

Over the past 12 years, Congress has passed 17 Medicare payment patches. The current Medicare physician payment patch expires April 1. According to the AMA, a bicameral bill, very similar to the legislation that was supported by much of organized medicine in 2014, will be reintroduced this week. On March 16, MSNJ joined the AMA and more than 750 organizations in a letter urging Congress to repeal SGR. It is now your turn to take action. Read the AMA 2015 SGR Action Kit and tell your Senator and Representative that repeal is needed now!

Read more about how this bipartisan agreement is shaping up between House Speaker John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi in the Wall Street Journal,  Modern Healthcarethe Associated Press, and Medpage Today.
