Little Bulman Celebrates 20 Years
Welcome to our inaugural email newsletter. We thought it was a fitting time to launch this exciting venture as this month marks our 20th anniversary as a firm.
At Little Bulman Medeiros & Whitney PC, or more commonly known as "Little Bulman," we take great pride in having a team of attorneys who have studied at the nation's most challenging law schools and trained at some of the most prestigious law firms. Our clients receive personal attention from attorneys specifically trained to address the complex issues they face.
 | L to R (Top to Bottom): Christopher Little, John Bulman, Matthew Medeiros and Christopher Whitney |
Christopher Little founded the practice in 1993, and was joined by John Bulman in 1995. In 1999, Christopher Whitney was welcomed to the firm, followed by Matthew Medeiros in 2000. In the ensuing decade, Little Bulman earned recognition as a trusted authority in complex business litigation and construction law.
Since its inception, the firm has practiced in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, enhancing its reputation along the way. In fact, "U.S. News Media Group" and "Best Lawyers" recently released their 2013 "Best Law Firms" rankings and cited Little Bulman for its consistently impressive performance ratings from their clients and peers.
As we celebrate 20 years in business, we look forward to sharing more about our firm, our capabilities, and our people with you.
Thank you.

John Bulman Elected to ACCL Board of Governors
Bulman has 25 years of experience in construction and commercial trial matters in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and surrounding states. He has represented both private and public clients in jury and non-jury trials as well as arbitration and mediation proceedings. He has also argued cases before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and the First and Eleventh Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. For several years, he has been recognized as one of the region's leading construction and litigation practitioners. He was elected to the American College of Construction Lawyers in 2006.
"The College provides national and international contacts and readily shared expertise at the highest level of construction law practice," said Bulman. "As a member of the Board of Governors, I look forward to giving back to an organization that I value. I hope to provide valuable leadership and guidance as the College moves into the next decade of its existence."

Sally McDonald Joins Our Firm
We are pleased to announce that Sally McDonald has joined Little Bulman. Prior to joining our team, she clerked for Chief Justice Paul A. Suttell at the Rhode Island Supreme Court and practiced for more than two years at a leading local firm.

"I was attracted to this firm because of its smaller size and its reputation for excellence in the community," she said. "Also, its focus on complex business litigation can be very intellectually challenging."
McDonald will be a strong addition to Little Bulman's business and construction dispute resolution services.
A native of Wisconsin, McDonald has fond memories of her home state, but has happily adapted to Rhode Island.
"I love living in Pawtuxet Village - and especially, being near the ocean," she adds.
McDonald is a graduate of Trinity College, with honors, and Roger Williams University (RWU) School of Law, cum laude. She served on the Law Review Executive Board at RWU Law.

Licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Little Bulman is one of New England's most prominent firms practicing construction law with attorneys recognized nationally for their expertise in all aspects of construction, as well as all methods of dispute avoidance and resolution. The firm is equally prominent in serving business clients in litigation and dispute resolution.
