New Accelerated Reader Catalog Search Feature
If you have a child attending a Sedona or VOC school, then you've probably heard of the Accelerated Reader (AR) program. With the Library's new online AR search feature, you can quickly find a specific library book or a list of titles that will match your child's school-recommended AR reading level.

On the Library's catalog page, select an AR range from the Search AR Range drop-down menus, for example 4.0 to 4.8, and you will get a list of titles that have been identified as being within that range. Additional information, specific to each title, is also displayed, including its AR reading level and point value. Don't hesitate to ask library staff for help.
Story Time Resumes Soon
Just a reminder that the Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 a.m. story time programs will resume on September 1, and Saturday story time/craft sessions start back up again at 11 a.m. on September 5.

Drop in, find new books and old favorites, meet up with friends, and have fun at the Library!
Forum on Domestic Violence
On Wednesday, August 12, at 5 p.m. in the community room, the Library's Latino Services department will hold a forum entitled "Dynamic of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse." The forum will be conducted in Spanish and led by Meily C. Rodriguez, from the Verde Valley Sanctuary. No registration for this free program is required.
