Spring is a Time for Change and
Renewal
Do you like change? Some people view change positively and see it as an exciting time to learn and grow. Others fear change and find it stressful even when the changes are positive. In nature, it is easy to see changes occurring as a process. Whether it is a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, or winter shifting into spring, we can easily appreciate the process of change.1 But when it comes to our health and our lives, we often forget the fact that change, like healing, does not happen instantaneously.
The opposite of stress is not relaxation but resilience, and coping with change and the transition from old patterns to new ones requires resilience.
It is important during times of change to make sure that the foundation upon which you stand is adaptable and solid and supports you. Here are 7 foundational principles for building personal health that can help enhance your well-being during these times of increasingly rapid changes.
