Traditional Michoac�n Carnitas to benefit a College Education

Chef Candido Gonzales of Los Portales Mexican Restaurant will be serving carnitas tacos in the tradition of Zinapecuaro, Michoac�n and crispy tilapia fillet tacos with spices, marinaded and fried with light beer batter.

Tacos will be topped with pico red onions, serrano peppers, chipotle mayonnaise and hand-made traditional salsas.

Sales will benefit Rogers Park resident John MacDougall who is going into his sophomore year of Computer Science at Vassar College.
