New Lifejacket Policy
|
Reston Association has a new policy aimed to improve safety for children using association pools this summer. RA permits U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets only. Inflatable water wings, inner tubes and foam bathing suit inserts are prohibited. Lifejackets are available at each pool and may be checked out from RA pool employees. Birds have developed a wide variety of beak types to eat different types of food. What type works best for finding grubs in a tree or cracking open nuts? What about eating fish? Experiment with these useful adaptations yourself.

Reston Association is seeking volunteers to serve on its Pedestrian Lighting Working Group. The group will prioritize and study community lighting needs and report its findings to the Board of Directors by November.
