METRORAIL SILVER LINE

Reston Station The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is constructing a 23-mile extension of the Metrorail system, which will be operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority from East Falls Church to Washington Dulles International Airport. The extension will serve the Reston-Herndon area, the state's second largest employment concentration. It will provide a one-seat ride from Dulles International Airport to downtown Washington. Ride starts at Lake Anne parking lot.
The Pedestrian & Bicycling Advisory Committee is organizing a one-hour bike ride through north Reston. Bicyclists must have front and rear lights.  This introductory class will cover food preservation methods, including canning, fermentation, drying/dehydration, and freezing. Historic Trust Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Reston Historic Trust (owner and operator of the Reston Museum) will feature President Shelley Mastran's review of the past year's activities and finances. Light refreshments will be served and new board members elected.
