Board of Directors

Reston's paths are one of the community's greatest joys. Set as your goal to explore all 55 miles of paved and natural surface pathways winding throughout Reston's open spaces. Not only do these paths provide a great place to exercise and get some fresh air, they also connect neighborhoods, recreation areas and shopping centers.

The Reston Historic Trust and Reston Museum are seeking input from the community for two initiatives that will coincide with Founder's Day next spring.

To celebrate Reston's 50th anniversary, residents who have grown up in Reston and continue to live or serve the area will be honored at the April 5 event. You can nominate Restonians who meet the criteria by downloading and submitting the "Recognizing Young Restonians" form.

Bob Simon In addition, the program for the 50/100 celebration will include messages to Reston's founder, Robert E. Simon, who will turn 100 years old. Download the "Messages to Bob" submission form here to include your message in the event program.
