Rescuing frogs in Panama

Dr. Della Garelle, Director of Field Conservation, recently traveled to Gamboa, Panama to assist our Panama Amphibian Rescue and Conservation (PARC) project partners in moving almost 500 frogs from holding pods located at Summit Zoo into new permanent isolation pods located at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. The move provides hope for the expansion of the program.
