First-Ever Artificial Insemination of Mountain Tapirs 

For the first time ever in captivity, an artificial insemination (AI) will be attempted in mountain tapirs, and Dr. Della Garelle, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's Director of Conservation, is leading the efforts.
