5 Industry Associations We Belong To—and Why

At Arborist Enterprises, we firmly believe that learning from and supporting industry organizations is the only way to sustain excellence in all we do. We are asked from time to time what these organizations are about, so we wrote the shortest capsule descriptions we could think of. We hope you'll find these interesting reading.

Tree Care Industry Association Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)
The focus of the TCIA is primarily on the business needs of its members in tree care industry. Arborist Enterprises President Ben Tresselt served as chairman of the TCIA board in 2013.
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
In addition to providing certification for arborists, the ISA dispenses scientific knowledge and education to its members. Ben Tresselt is a Board Certified Master Arborist, and we have five other certified arborists on staff.
American Society of Consulting Arborists American Society of Consulting Arborists
ASCA provides high-level arboricultural knowledge to members who range from consultants to contractors. Our membership allows us to fine-tune our expertise.
Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association
The PLNA helps its members plug into the green industry in Pennsylvania. State and regional issues are covered well here.
Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund) Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund
The TREE fund is the research end of tree care, with endowments that fund scientific research for industry, education and scholarships related to arboriculture and urban forestry.
