Dear JCC Family and Friends,

 

    Our "Beyond the Limits" Youth had a great Retreat last weekend. Some of them will be Water Baptized during our healing Service at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening. We have about 10 people who will be baptized - if you have received Jesus as Savior and Lord and desire Water Baptism, please contact our church office - Terry Leonard a.s.a.p.. There will be a Pre-Baptism information Class Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in Room 207B. Have a need - come and let God touch your life in our Healing Service gathering of believers.

 

FATHER / SON ADVANCE @ JCC Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. includes breakfast and lunch. If you haven't yet registered there is on-site registration. Come expecting a lot of fun, activity and spiritual challenge. If you would like to help out in any way contact Terry @ the JCC office.

 

 PRAY for our ladies on Retreat in Williamsburg Friday and Saturday.

 

Sunday morning, Pastor Bill will share the final installment of a 3-part series on "All in Love". Hope to see you @ 8:45 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. where he will share the message, "Lanes of Love". Invite friends to join us this week.

 

 

 

  
   We are continuing a special class thru March 24 on dealing with loss of loved ones;  it is in the format of a small  group meeting at 10:10 am every Sunday morning (room 209)- "First Light... life beyond Loss". (First Light - the light from the sky between full light and sunrise). A 7 week interactive Sunday School group for those who are walking from the darkness of grief into the light of joy...This is open to anyone who has lost a loved one recently. Questions? call the office for more info.

  water baptism

Sun Feb 24  6 pm Water Baptism service and "Heaven's Fire Healing gathering @ JCC.  Baptism applications and info in the clear wall racks. If you desire water baptism, please return the completed application to Terry in the church office or contact her to let us know of your desire to be baptized.Candidates meeting at 5 pm in room 207b with Pastor Mike.

 

March 2  we will have a Family Breakfast beginning at 8:30 am followed by a "Missions Window" by Jeremy and Jessica Lewis who spent 2 1/2 weeks serving in Cambodia Nov - Dec 2012.  At 10 am we will have our Annual Pinewood Derby.  The race is open to anyone who buys a kit and builds a car.  Kits will be available on Sunday.  Please register on the connect card or respond to this email to RSVP for the breakfast and/or derby.

March 3 @ 6 pm  Our youth will present to the congregation and invited guests a "Fine Arts Showcase" they will present in District competition the following week. We invite you to come out and encourage our young adults as they develop their gifts and talents. Invite friends. Pray that our young people do all for God's glory.

"Christ Alone" an original play that weaves its way from Jesus' birth to resurrection. Performances are Friday March 22 at 8 pm and March 23, 24 at 6 pm at JCC. Invite cards willl be available soon. Utilize your social medias to promote this powerful presentation at Easter.

 

Eggstravaganza 2013 @ The Fairfax County Gov't Center Sat March 30 from 12-3.  This is one of our biggest outreaches and opportunities to serve the community. Thank you for your investment of time for Kingdom glory.
