A cordial welcome to our new members.

One of life's great questions is whether the world holds a soulmate for each of us.

Most of us are familiar with the yearning for one. But can we yearn for something we are not sure exists? I firmly believe that there really is someone - a sole mate - for each one of us.

What do we mean by soulmate? It's more than just someone with whom we share tastes and values, isn't it?

We use the word soul to mean so much, such as conscience, spirit, quintessence, secret self, vital force. The true mate for your soul is someone whose conscience and whose spirit are deeply aligned with your own, who can safely be admitted to your secret self, whose vital force will fly with yours.

If you believe too, you will eagerly, hopefully, and delightedly embark on your quest. You'll begin with an open mind rather than with preconceived notions so you can see what's truly there and not only what you're wishing for. You'll begin with an open heart that allows at least a glimpse of your quintessence. You'll begin with honesty, inviting honesty back. By trusting, you'll invite trust. With courage, you'll encourage someone to let you in.

Naturally you'll want some shared tastes, so that doing things together will always be a joy.

But you'll want complementarity too: enough differences to let you learn from one another and introduce each other to your own special delights, your own sense of adventure. The commonplaces of a life together are the luscious fruits in a relationship; the kernel of that fruit is the glorious conjunction of two souls in deepest harmony.

We send you our warmest wishes for a thrilling and rewarding journey.
