Mrs. Bean's Smarties  have been busy sorting letters during workstations. 






Grade 4

Students in Mrs. Clark's fourth grade did sentence surgery!  They had to "operate" on simple sentences to make them compound sentences.  Students cut off the punctuation and capital letter in the middle of the sentence, then added a lower case letter, comma, and conjunction!  All surgeries were successful! 
   
Grade 2
Mrs. Naville's class has been discussing the Sacrament of Baptism.  They are all excited to know they are children of God! 
 

Mrs. Naville's class used Chromebooks to research a U.S. State and then wrote down a fact they learned and two details about their fact.  They did a great job working together, practicing using technology, and reviewing the reading skill of facts and details!  
Indiana Torch Relay

Ms. Marcia Ernstberger has been chosen to participate in the Indiana Torch Relay on Friday, September 16.  Ms. Ernstberger has taught Indiana history in 4th grade for many years. We cannot think of a better representative for the state of Indiana! We are so proud - go Ms. Ernstberger!!!

On Tuesday, September 6th parents will receive an email with a link to Sign Up Genius. While there, parents will be able to sign up for a date and time for their child's parent/teacher conference. The conferences will be held Tuesday-Thursday September 27-29. Students need to attend the conference with the parents.
