Grade 2
Mrs. Naville's second graders are doing a great job with the various learning activities during Reading Stations.  The students love using their Chromebooks in the classroom!

Students in Mrs. Barber's class used Chromebooks to do an online assignment from their reading series, Pearson-Reading Street.

Grade 6
Mrs. Sumpter's sixth grade language arts classes enjoyed playing a friendly game of Kahoot on their Chromebooks to review for their reading test.  The students had a blast seeing how fast they could get the correct answer and watching their scores climb!
Mrs. Meyer's 6th grade science class continued learning about food chains and food webs this week.  To strengthen their understanding of a food chain, the students dissected owl pellets to determine what animals an owl eats.

Kindergarten
Mrs. Bean's Smarties are having fun sorting.

Mrs. Kist's class practiced sorting shapes, too!

Grade 5
The 5th grade Social Studies classes learned a lot about government this past week.  They were each assigned to one of our three branches of government.  Each branch had a specific task:  make a law that gets passed, convince Congress to declare war, and decide if laws are constitutional.  The students learned that all three branches have to work together to get work accomplished.
