Father Daughter Dance 2016

Grade 4 Music Class
Grade 4 is actively learning recorder playing skills.  They have learned the fingerings for the notes B, A, G and C.  They are also practicing whole notes, dotted half notes, half notes and quarter notes.  Repeat signs, fermatas and tied notes are coming next.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are in need of adult volunteers to work some important positions for the children at the SpringFest on Sunday, March 6th. For the safety of the children we need adults to supervise two key areas: The Inflatable Slide, and Touch a Fire Truck (children are allowed to climb in a Sellersburg Fire Truck and sit in the driver's seat)

Please volunteer a 1 hour or 1 and 1/2 hour shift so we are able to provide these fun opportunities for the children!
Shifts are:
12-1:00
1-2:00
2-3:30

We are also in need of volunteers to do face painting during those same shifts. The children love to have their faces painted, so we really want to be able to provide this opportunity for them!

If you can help with the slide, fire truck, or face painting, please contact Samantha Huber at 502-376-2941 or shuber@huberwinery.com

Kindergarten
Kindergarten had so much fun bowling with their friends!  They had fun cheering for each other, sharing and taking turns.

New this Year!
  • A Professional Auctioneer, Lincoln Crum, will auction off our Live Auction items: class projects, pottery pieces and a 60" LG 4K Smart TV
  • The "Schedule of Events" has been Streamlined! Each class will sing and immediately after that, each class' pottery piece and project will be auctioned off in the same presentation room.
  • Right after each grade level sings and their class project and pottery have been auctioned off, that same grade level's Class Baskets will be Auctioned or Raffled off in the gymnasium. Yes, the Class Basket Raffle is back again this year! You can still decide between four different baskets. However, this year you do not need to be present to win. We're simply asking that you include the teacher's initial and grade on the back of your raffle ticket. (Example 3B)
  • We have TWO great raffles this year: a $1000 Cash Raffle (where a $700, $200 & $100 winner will be drawn) AND a Quarter of Freezer Beef Raffle (valued at $500). Raffle tickets are just a buck a chance this year and you do not need to be present to win! We hope to send a few tickets home in advance of the event should you wish to sell any chances to extended friends and family.
  • The line-up of the Kids Games has expanded! (Weather permitting - Basketball hoops will be added along with other games.)
  • Our Silent Auction Items are more diverse! Items range from an iPad mini to two -- 50 lb packs of Freezer Beef (30 lbs ground beef & 20 lbs of steaks, roasts, & various cuts) - one for each of the Sessions.
  • We tweaked the Menu to include Cheeseburgers!
  • Click here to see a listing of all those who are graciously donating to this year's event! Stay tuned - donations are still rolling in! This list is continually being updated.
  • Thanks to everyone who is helping make this year's SpringFest our BEST ONE YET! See you on March 6th!
