Students in Mrs. Clark's Fourth grade class painted abstract art in preparation of honoring Patriot Day on Friday, September 11.

After studying about cells in their science book, fourth grade students in Mrs. Clark's science class looked at cells under the microscope, drawing pictures of what they saw.

IMPORTANT:  DISMISSAL PARKING

Please look over the following reminders to help keep everyone safe, and keep traffic flowing for all:
  • If you arrive before the playground/parking lot entrance is opened at 2:30, please park in the small parking lot beside the church to wait to be directed to enter the parking lot.
  • If you do not want to drive into the playground/parking lot to pick up your child, please park in the back rows of the small parking lot closest to the church and walk over to pick up your child from his/her teacher. You may also park in the non-numbered spaces in the Activity Center parking lot and walk over to pick up your child. This allows those that do want to drive into the playground/parking lot to be able to flow freely out of the small church parking lot and into the playground/parking lot at 2:30.
  • The back rows of the small parking lot beside the church and the non-numbered spaces of the Activity Center parking lot should also be used if you do not plan to leave immediately after picking up your child from his/her teacher. This will help us avoid those wanting to exit being blocked in and having to back up . The traffic pattern at dismissal is designed for safety so that cars should not have to back up.

Grade 2
Mrs. Barber's class has had a busy start to second grade.  They read a story about
Henry and Mudge camping and made some tasty snacks.
They reviewed for a vocabulary test using a website call Kahootit, which they loved.
This week they made birthday cards for The Holy Mother, Mary.

Grade 1

Mrs. Bruggeman's first graders have really enjoyed literacy stations during their guided reading block!  They are becoming such good readers and writers!

Mrs. Brock & Mrs. Chrisco's class had a fun Family Friday!  After learning about their school's new mascot the children created their own knight masks during art.

Computer Class
Fourth graders were sorting skittles in computer class!  They had to predict how many of each color were in the bag, then count the actual number.  They entered the numbers into an excel spreadsheet and created graphs to represent the data

Popsicle Emergency!
Summertime temperatures continued on Tuesday.  So, the school declared a "Popsicle Emergency"!  Everyone took time out to enjoy a cool treat.

Spirit Wear Fun!

Volunteers Needed
We are all looking forward to our annual Walk-a-Thon on Friday, September 11.  The students will be treated to a pizza lunch from Dominos.  We will need volunteers starting at about 10:45 a.m. to help serve pizza, clean up and deliver the pizzas to Silver Creek Park to the 5th & 6th grade.  If you can help please call the school office. pizza-banner.jpg
