Traveling through Africa I often wonder, "Where do these people get medical care?" The road stretches on for miles with few obvious facilities.

In Malek, South Sudan, people get medical care because of AMHF partner Memorial Christian Hospital. This young woman came in the night seizing from malaria in the brain. The quick action of the nurses saved her life. AMHF provides support for medicines and health staff.

From malaria to HIV, from Malawi to South Sudan, AMHF and its partners have consistently supported direct care for more than 75,000 patients annually. And we have been laying the groundwork to help many more through training and infrastructure.
