Summer Jazz Camp
JCDS is offering a Summer Jazz Camp that runs from July 15-19. The cost is $175 and you can register your students via the Veracross portal.

- Jazzy J's & Drum Line End of Year Party - Wednesday, May 29, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Adventure Landing; 6th Grade members may meet us there if they wish.
- Chorus Performance at the Eve Awards Luncheon - Friday, May 31, at noon. Chorus uniform required. We will leave the school by bus at 10:15 a.m.

AmberJax are preparing for our first home LCM meet this weekend, the annual
Midnight Madness. JCDS will be well represented with some tough competition, including their own teammates. Don't forget to turn in your $25 hospitality money and sign up to help for a shift.

One more note: The last day of school, we will hold practice at the regular 3:30 p.m. time to accommodate the fifth grade pool party in the afternoon. Our morning practice schedule starts June 3. See you at practice!

In the fall, we will reward the family that turns in the most Box Tops with a $50 gift card to their favorite restaurant! This summer challenge is open to all JCDS families, faculty, administration and staff! Simply collect Box Tops all summer and turn in one baggie per family to one teacher by Friday, September 13, 2013. The family with the most Box Tops wins!
Access an updated list of participating products. Look for the "Box Tops for Education" logo on the product, cut it out and send it in! Please note: Each Box Top has an expiration date and those submitted with an expired date will not be included in your total; these are considered void and are not honored by the Box Tops for Education company...so check the date!
