Dear Friends of St. Francis,

I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful ministry of music given to us by Mary Been, but it is with a heavy heart that I must announce to you that Mary will be ending her ministry with us after two joy-filled years. Mary was our faithful musical star during the interim period and has continued to guide us during this past year...for this, I give great thanks for the blessings she has given all of us. Mary's last weekend with us will be Sunday, September 13, 2015. On that Sunday, the Festival Choir will lift their voices in song and I hope you do too (...because, if you sing, you pray twice!), and we will celebrate Mary's ministry in many other ways on that day.

I know we are all deeply grateful for Mary's amazing enthusiasm and her many gifts for music, and that she shared these with us and encouraged us to participate in all forms of music as well. I wish her an abundance of blessings as she ends her ministry among us and will keep her in my prayers as she continues to answer God's call for her ministry and spends time with her family. I hope you will join me in gratitude for Mary's ministry and celebrating her time with us on September 13.
