The "church" is the gathered community of believers in Christ, wherever we may be gathered together. As a community of believers, we also have been entrusted as stewards of the physical resources of the community...a building we commonly call our "church." This past winter has reminded us that the world in which we live can take a toll on our physical resources, as those buildings shelter us from the cold and other natural elements. As a result of the winter storms, we have experienced damage to several areas of our buildings, and fortunately our insurance will cover nearly every aspect of the necessary repairs. However, we would like to take this opportunity of repair and reconstruction to implement some new ideas and realize some new visions of how we gather together - how we heat our church, how we greet people as they enter our church, and how we safely meet together for gatherings.

A letter will be mailed during this coming week that will provide the details of our campaign to raise the needed financial resources to complete our renovations for Heating, Greeting, & Meeting together. We have targeted a goal of $25,000 for this campaign; of which we have already received $5,000 from a Diocesan Grant for Green Energy initiatives, $5,000 from the commitment of your Vestry & Clergy, and a generous financial gift from a member of the church who recently moved, to include a $1,000 gift for this campaign. I am excited about the possibilities of this campaign and I hope you will join us as we serve as stewards of our physical gifts and our beloved community.
