Wrapping up Summer
  • This weekend is the last of our summer worship schedule. We return to our regular worship schedule on September 6/7.

  • This Wednesday, August 27th, is the last S'more Wednesday Worship by the labyrinth behind St. Clare House at 7:00 p.m. Night Prayer (compline) from A New Zealand Prayer Book followed by s'mores and fellowship around the fire bowl. Bring your lawn chair and your appetite!

  • Regular office hours of Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will resume starting September 1st, however the office will be closed on Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day holiday.

Pictorial Directories... Many thanks to those who have sent in their pictures. There are still lots of families missing from the pictorial directory. Please help us make the next directory a great representation of our parish family, and a great resource for our new rector. You can drop it off, mail it, or email it to the office, stfran@verizon.net to be included in the fall directory.

Mission

A Celebration for Our Missionaries in El Salvador, Tom & Dianne Wilson

Dianne and Tom Wilson, St. Francis parishioners serving as missionaries from the Diocese of Western Massachusetts in El Maizal, El Salvador, will be returning to the US in late August and staying through the month of September. They will be conducting Q&A sessions following the services the weekend of September 27-28 and we will be having a celebration in their honor after the 10:00 am service on September 28. It will be a fun event, including a piņata for the kids, a silent auction of arts & crafts from El Salvador, and a pot luck dinner. Tom and Dianne will speak at the event regarding their experiences in El Salvador over the last 18 months and will be accepting donations to support the many important projects they are working in in El Maizal.
