Mission
Clothing drive for Nu Day Syria Relief The Mission Committee continues to be so grateful for all the wonderful donations for Syrian refugees. Just to let you all know that on August 23rd all of these items will be packed in boxes at a facility in Nashua, New Hampshire. The boxes then go in a huge container bound for the besieged areas either in Syria or the borders of Lebanon. Your response has been heart-warming. Thanks for the additions of linens. The warmer items are going to be really needed as the cold weather approaches. You all are an amazing group.
Hope for Housing Cards will be sold in the narthex after all services the weekend of August 23-24.
Mustard Seed
This Wednesday St. Francis will be serving about 200 dinners at the Mustard Seed. Desserts are needed to accompany our meals. Any cookies, cupcakes, brownies or other desserts are welcome. Please have them at church by 5:00 p.m.  Thanks.
