Area Confirmation at St. Francis... 
Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.

 

The Rt. Rev. Douglas Fisher, Bishop of the Diocese of Western Massachusetts will visit St. Francis and confirm and receive those who have been preparing to become members of the Episcopal Church from St. Francis and area Episcopal churches.

A reception in Fellowship Hall will follow.


Calling All Graduates... 

Calling All Graduates...On Sunday, June 15th we will be honoring all of our graduates - high school, college, grad school, vocational and certificate achievements. Please let the office know your name, where you're graduating from and any future plans you have.


Youth Mission Golf Outing... 

St. Francis Youth Mission group is heading to San Diego CA this summer and to help with costs we are offering a fun way to support our mission. Mark your calendars for Monday, June 23 and come golf at Holden Hills. Golfers of all talent are welcome. Entry Fee: $125/person (teams of 4) including green fees, cart rental, BBQ rib and chicken lunch and we will have prizes, contests, and 50/50 raffle.

St. Francis Youth Mission would like to thank the Mission Committee for generously donating to support our mission trip this summer. We appreciate it!


Mission Committee News... 

Several activities are planned during the year. Updates will be provided bi-weekly. Ongoing each month: Food preparation for Mustard Seed and Dismas Farm, Hope for Housing cards (twice per month).    

 

May:

UTO collection have begun. Materials are on the Mission table in the narthex. Donations should be returned to the church by the weekend of June 28/29.

 

June:

14th - Habitat for Humanity house building

15th - Donations for military (Ruth Webb)

21st - Clothing drive begins for NuDay Syria


Are you interested in Mission participation but not in a committee membership?  You are encouraged to sign up in the Narthex and someone from the Committee will contact you or you can email Kathy Diehl at khdiehl@charter.net

Mustard Seed this week...
