Easter Offering...

Our Easter Offering, designated by the Mission Committee to go to Tom and Dianne Wilson and their mission work in El Salvador, was $3243.  Many thanks for your support on behalf of Tom and Dianne, and the Mission Committee.

Thank you to...

Did any one notice a lot of praying going on during Holy Week?  That's because, as Randy reminded us, THOSE WHO SING PRAY TWICE, and the Festival Choir did a lot of singing. Thank you to all for your many hours of rehearsal, your enthusiasm, and your spirit. You added much to Holy Week.

A special thank you to Erik Gladwin on trumpet and Jeff Heath and the bells. Jeff had the vision to believe that we could make "Lift High the Cross" a memorable Easter recessional, and made it happen!

Happy Spring to all.  Mary Been

From the Search Committee...

On April 16th we received the names of ten possible candidates for our next rector.  Pam Mott, our Canon to the Ordinary, met with us to present us with their profiles and other written materials.  We have begun our review of this material and will be meeting regularly to discuss and discern our next steps.  We will most likely be arranging initial interviews in early May.  Please keep our committee and the candidates in your prayers.  If you have any thoughts, questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact anyone on the committee or leave a note in the basket in the narthex.  I can be reached at 508-341-1698 or rcarlo5@mac.com.

Time for Tea...

It is time for another Senior Tea.  Tuesday, May 13, at 2:00 p.m. is our next Senior Tea. We will celebrate spring and trust it will not be marked by a surprise snow fall. We are so done with winter. Come enjoy another fun time together. If you would like to bring food to share it would be appreciated. If you are willing to help set up and serve and clean up, I would appreciate it. Please indicate your interest on the SIGN UP SHEET in the Narthex. I am looking forward to our time together.
