Eucharist Instruction Sign Up...
Purpose: Recognizing that at Baptism, parents promise to "see that the child you present is brought up in the Christian faith and life," (BCP p. 302) we want to provide resources and opportunities which support parents as they teach their children about the gift and mystery of Holy Communion and its connections with our daily lives.
This program will begin on March 16th with an informational meeting for children and parents after the 10:00 a.m. service. Children should bring their Bibles. Please click here for full information and schedule.

A sign-up sheet has been posted in the Narthex.

30 Hour Famine...

The Youth are once again participating in the 30 Hour Famine. Youth will fast for 30 hours to raise both money for and awareness around ending world hunger. The dates for the famine are March 22nd and March 23rd. This year our Team goal is to raise $2,000.  You can donate to either a teen individually to help them meet their individual goal or to the Team as a whole. Checks should be made out to World Vision and can be left in Liz Korandanis' mailbox or given to an individual teen who is participating.

To donate online go to www.30hourfamine.org and click on donate, then click on find a famine student or group for 2014. To donate to an individual teen's page enter their first and last name. To donate to the Team click on find famine group and enter ST FRANCIS YOUTH GROUP (all capitals with no punctuation). If you have any questions or difficulties donating online please contact Liz at lizkorandanis@gmail.com.  Thank you for all of your support!

Guess Who's Coming for Dinner...

It's that time of year again.  Our 6th annual dinner will be Saturday, April 5th at 6:00 p.m.  Reservations are in the Narthex and we ask that you reserve your spot by Sunday, March 23rd. For those who may not be familiar with this fun night, we meet in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m. for light refreshments.  During this time you will learn of your dinner destination and be sent off to join other St Francis members for dinner. Our hosts all live within 5 miles of the church and prepare a wonderful dinner for you to enjoy, but more importantly you have the opportunity to meet and dine with fellow St Francis parishioners, in small groups of 6-8.  After dinner everyone convenes back in fellowship hall for dessert and coffee.  Every year we hear of new and rekindled friendships made during the evening.  We invite all to join us.  Any questions can be directed to Kathy Diehl, khdiehl@charter.net.
