Hope for Housing aids families that are on the brink of homelessness or are homeless in the greater Worcester area.  Since the program has started $195,000 has been used to assist homeless families or those in jeopardy of becoming homeless.

Young Parents Mentoring Program....

The Mission Committee invites you to consider helping young parents in the Worcester area as mentors who can be positive role models in their lives. Based on the request for more local service opportunities by St. Francis members who completed the past Mission Committee Survey, we have contacted Training Resources of America, Inc., a local non-profit organization that offers education and training services to disadvantage youth and adults. The Young Parents Mentoring Program builds one-on-one relationships of mutual respect and trust between mentors and young parents looking to acquire life skills and parenting guidance. If you are interested in attending an informational meeting please contact Esteban Loustaunau (eloustaunau@assumption.edu), Mission Committee member.
