Dear Members of the St. Francis Community,

Wouldn't we all love to flourish in faith and be certain of God's presence at all times and in all circumstances? Flourish in Faith is the theme for our annual financial stewardship program and will include a variety of opportunities for exploring scriptures and deepening our faith.

Over the next several weeks we will explore God's vision for St. Francis' and invite members to prayerfully determine God's will for the gifts and resources with which they have been blessed. These are the seeds we will plant for our journey:

• Beginning on October 6-7th through November 10-11th, bulletin inserts written by Episcopal stewardship leaders across the country will provide reflections on stewardship and faithful giving
• The October 6-7th services will be our patronal saint celebration and Jan Moran, a member of the Stewardship Team, will introduce the Stewardship program. It seems fitting to kick off our stewardship program on a weekend celebrating our patronal saint for whom the importance of using our blessings for furthering God's mission was so important.
• During services for the next four weekends, from October 13-14th -November 3-4th,we will hear from one of our fellow parishioners to learn first-hand how our financial giving as a whole supports the ministries and experiences at St. Francis.
• On November 10-11th we will celebrate commitment weekend, the culmination of the journey, when pledges will be completed and offered as an act of worship.
