Last Days for Special Rate at D.C. Conference!
The cutoff date to receive the special CASA rats at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D. C. is next Monday, January 25.  Guest room rates can exceed $600 a night as the date draws near. As of right now, there are still rooms available at the CASA special rate of $309. Hurry! 
State to Receive $1.2 Billion for Water Recycling Projects
California is getting $1.2 billion in revenue bonds to fund water recycling projects. CASA joined WateReuse and ACWA in sending a comment letter to the Water Board supporting this funding. This is significant for CA, as recycled water projects create reliable, sustainable water supplies, helping to ensure economic vitality for industrial, commercial, municipal, and agricultural users. Delta Diablo leveraged their relationship with the media to communicate this story on recycled water, published in the Contra Costa Times. 

Los Virgenes Municipal Water District announces a revised irrigation policy. In addition to issuing a news release, the District is placing ads in local news outlets and conducting a direct mail notification to each customer.

The deadline for the April Wastewater Operator Certification exam is February 9, 2016.  All wastewater examination applications must be received in the Wastewater Operator Certification Programıs office by February 9, 2016 to be considered for the April 9, 2016 exam.
