Bombarded with heavy demands? Too much hitting you right now?  Can't figure out which end is up?  

 

During WWII, Yugoslavia was hit hard, as small villages were bombarded by German stukas. The promise to make an independent state for the Croatans created unlikely allies as the small country surged with violence and confusion amidst extreme poverty. Jozeka was among those trying desperately to find enough food to survive one more day. She had to separate from both her husband and her child at times. Her own step-father was an alcoholic brute. But in spite of horrific circumstances, Jozeka became known as the praying woman. Miracle after miracle took place in her presence. Somehow in the midst of heavy artillery fire, intense betrayals, painful separations and a forced nomadic life style, Jozeka was anchored and able to minister through nothing more and...nothing less than, prayer.  If you would like to read more about the praying woman:

Overwhelmed by duty, task and toil? While it makes no earthly sense, we encourage you to literally stop everything. And pray. Pray like your life depends upon it. Your greatest ministry might just come from times of heaviest demands!
