First day of school pictures fill my FB newsfeed and mark a time of transition from the lazy days ofcollege summer to carpool lines, rushed dinners and valiant attempts at family calendar coordination. For me however, the transition is bigger this year: That of the transition to empty nest. No more school supply shopping, hearing about the first day or who a favorite teacher will be. And while emotionally more challenging, this transition is easier, physically. The house is too quiet and the Kleenex box is almost empty, but I'll be ok. Although not fun, I'm finding new rhythms, an ability to embrace the quiet and enjoyment of my boys' unpredictable texts and "never at a good time," phone calls. You can bet I drop everything for those calls.

We hope that our offerings in this newsletter help you to manage through your life's more challenging page-turners.

Thanksgiving is not possible because everything is perfect, but because
God is always present.

A healthy transition involves trusting that God is good while releasing what was and accepting what is.

While trained as an Electrical Engineer and Project manager, Denise Myers has always been creative and has had a natural love for photography. She received her first simple camera from her Grandma while in junior high and couldn't put it down. Her next camera was a Canon AE1 she received for high school graduation. Several years ago, she branched into digital photography and has never looked back.

1 Impression 2 Remember was created to market both her freelance work and fine art photography.  As a freelance photographer, she enjoys making people look their best, capturing families having fun together, and preserving memories for the bride and groom on their special day. As a fine art photographer, she enjoys a good landscape, bird or flower, but nothing compares to mission trip photography when she has the opportunity to take someone's picture for the first time in their life and then show them that they are beautiful. Check out her website HERE.
