Greetings!

Have you noticed how easily we are offended these days?  It seems we take offense at everything.   It puts thorns us on edge. It makes it hard to communicate with one another.  We are getting to the point that it's best just to tweet a quick message or post a quick FB note rather than risk an offense.  We are becoming buried under a pile of offenses.

We also take offense at God. Perhaps there is a connection between the two.   We cannot have Him involved in our judicial affairs, present in our educational discourses or considered as part of scientific exploration. Removing God from the throne of our heart will mount the offenses exponentially in our souls. We just don't even realize the damage.  Booker T. Washington, a man who experienced tremendous prejudice and unfair treatment responded differently to offenses. "I will not let any man make me lower myself by hating him."  He provides an alternative response to an offense.

We hope this newsletter does the same - provide you with alternative responses to offenses. Feel free to dig a little further to discover how to get out from under the rubble of offenses.   How invigorated is the heart that is set free from the bondage of offense.
