march
Greetings!

Our relationship with time is a fickle one at best. There are times when the days and weeks seem to fly mudpie by. Yes, it is really March already! We ask ourselves, "Where did the time go?" But then there are those painstakingly slow periods where suffering seems to drag our lives through muddy day after muddy day. The slow trudge through difficulties eventually wears us down. We ask ourselves, "Will this ever end?" And the good news is that yes, it will end. Every trial indeed has a beginning and an end. "This too shall pass" seems such a trite consolation prize when measured against the path travailed. However, if we can keep in mind that every trial, no matter how long, is momentary and no matter how excruciating, is light compared to the eternal weight of glory that awaits us in Christ Jesus, I wonder what would happen in that mud....Mud pies, perhaps?
