We outfitted 10,740 children with NEW shoes, socks, and more during the 2016/2017 school year!!!!!
We strive to provide new shoes, socks, and more to 10,000 disadvantaged children each school year, September thru May!
Since 2003, GTSF has served 81,271 Southern Nevada children in need!

WOW! WOW! WOW!! This year's May 13th, 2017 9th Annual Evening of Heart n' Sole event at the M Resort was an INCREDIBLE success!! Our nearly 500 guests took in our swashbuckling scenes, our spot-on Captain Jack and our mesmerizing mermaid as they charted a course to help GTSF's hoist the sails! And, hoist they did...
Our enthusiastic Hearties, Pirates & Pearls helped raise a whopping $306,000 during the evening's wild festivities and that wasn't the end of it... The Engelstad Family Foundation jumped on board to MATCH every dollar raised, making this a record-breaking year for GTSF, which will result in all-new programming during the upcoming 2017/2018 school year!!
A giant THANK YOU to all of our attendees, auction donors, bidders and volunteers who put their best foot forward on behalf of GTSF!! We know this is a party with a purpose but this year you blew us away with your themed outfits, your enthusiasm, your energy and your love for what we do and how we do it!!

Spin Zone Success!
The Findlay Automotive Group selected the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation as their month of May Fox5 MORE Show Spin Zone Charity of the Month! Stars from Broadway in the Hood, MO5AIC, Days of our Lives, A Flock of Seagulls, and more "spun" the wheel to raise funds for GTSF!! Together, they raised a total of $6,350! A big GIANT thank YOU to Findlay Automotive Group and the MORE Show team for giving back in a big way.

 Fit Body Bootcamp is Back in June!
Spend the month perfecting your summer body and giving back to GTSF at Fit Body Bootcamp! Every Saturday in June, Fit Body Bootcamp - The Lakes AND Fit Body Bootcamp - Northwest will be hosting a 10 a.m. and a 10:45 a.m. class to benefit GTSF.
For a minimum donation of just $10, you can kick-butt and make a difference. Plus, if you choose to attend the 10:45 am class, Steak It will provide a delicious lunch to fuel you up for the day. Sweat now, shine later, and help provide a child in need with a new pair of shoes!!

 Volunteers Make Goodie Two Shoes "Run"
At our recent Heart n' Sole event, the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation proudly named Augustine "Gus" Farias our 2017 Volunteer of the Year!
Gus is one of our original volunteers! Over the past fourteen years, he's served multiple board terms, lent a hand with set-up and tear-down at more shoe distribution events than we can count and joined Tony in manning a BBQ at more than a half dozen GTSF special events requiring a culinary touch! He's attended eight of our past nine annual Heart n' Sole events, advocated on our behalf, introduced new people to our work, inspired others to give and made significant personal contributions annually! Thank you, Gus, for your dedication and long-term commitment to GTSF and the work we do! We are proud to call you Volunteer, Board Member, Advocate and Friend... as well as GTSF Volunteer of the Year 2017!!

Become the Next GTSF
Gold Shirt Volunteer
We recognize all our dedicated volunteers who come out to 10 or more shoe distributions within a single school year with a coveted GTSF Gold shirt!
Helping is easy! Just block out distribution mornings (primarily Fridays) between 8:30 and 12:30, and join us in making a difference for 400 kids in need each week!

ON THE ROAD WITH THE SHOEMOBILE
If your company or organization would like to sponsor a shoe distribution event during the upcoming 2017/2018 school year, please contact the GTSF offices at 702-617-4027.
GTSF takes a programming hiatus over the summer months to prepare for the upcoming school year. But, the 2017/2018 school year will be here before we know it so watch for volunteer information and distribution event volunteer calls starting in early August!
