Since 2003, GTSF has served 78,449 Southern Nevada children in need!

Greetings!
February had us outfitting kids with new shoes and socks in very chilly temperatures but we've been able to warm up while crafting centerpieces with with a half-dozen of our creative buccaneer volunteers. Our Heart n' Sole event decor is looking ship-shape and that's no pirate tale! If you plan to attend our 9th Annual Evening of Heart n' Sole event on May 13th, now is the time to chart your course and get on board!!
March marks the half-way point of our spring shoe distributions! Since August, we've outfitted 7,918 of our community's most need students!! There are only 7 events left for the 2016/2017 school year. So, if you plan to volunteer at a distribution before the summer break, watch for those volunteer calls and register right away!
This month, we'll once again be helping out with the Great Vegas Festival of Beer and we need YOU!! If you're interested in lending a helping hand Friday night or Saturday (2 shifts) at the front entry gates, please give our office a call to sign-up or register via the emailed registration link NOW!!

Chart Your Course for
Heart n' Sole 2017
Ahoy... Me Hearties, Pirates & Pearls, it's time to weigh anchor and chart your course for GTSF's 2017 Heart n' Sole event!
Join us for a night of merriment, fine grog, tasty grub, lively entertainment by Vegas' best all-request rock band, Vegas Limit, and amazing, one-of-a-kind silent and live auction treasures - all benefiting Goodie Two Shoes. Dress is always fashionably casual but this year, we also welcome all Hearties, Pirates & Pearls! Don't miss the boat...get onboard!

Great Vegas Festival of Beer is Back!
We're expecting sunny skies for this beautiful April weekend! If you aren't already planning to attend this incredible event, then consider joining us a volunteer!
The Great Vegas Festival of Beer is debuting their Mad Craft Experience on Friday, April 7th and their annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer on Saturday, April 8th! Once again, GTSF will be providing volunteers to help check-in their more than 7,500 beer lovers! Your gift of time will result in a nice Festival of Beer donation to GTSF!! Want to work off all the libations and great food from GTSF's 9th Annual Evening of Heart n' Sole event?
Well, the Ultimate Obstacle Course Challenge is back at Sam Boyd Stadium on May 20th, 2017. If you love monkey bars, mud, and more, then this is the race for you.

Volunteer of the Month
ALMA R.
Alma joined us as a volunteer in September as part of the Hakkasan Group's fall giveback activation. During her very first event, the kids won her over and she's been a regular volunteer ever since.
With nine distributions already under her belt, Alma is just one event away from earning her GTSF Gold shirt! She is great with the kids and is always flashing a wonderful smile. Thanks for such awesome suppor, Alma!

Got clean, over-sized baskets at your house?
Donate them to GTSF...
GTSF is in need of LARGE/EXTRA LARGE baskets and giving basins for our annual Heart n' Sole event! We need baskets, wooden wine boxes, and other unique basket "vessels" for our awesome auction packages!
If you have a basket to donate, give us a call at (702) 617-4027 to set up a time to drop it off, or bring it with you to the next distribution. It's a great way to re-purpose for good!
