We strive to provide new shoes, socks, and more to 10,000 disadvantaged children each school year!
Since 2003, GTSF has served 77,229 Southern Nevada children in need!

Greetings!
Last month, our volunteers battled some downright rainy and cold January mornings to outfit 1,212 kids with new shoes at 3 different schools. If you missed the photos of our bucket brigade at Woolley Elementary School - check them out on our FB page! Rain or shine, GTSF does not disappoint!
It may be a little chilly at our winter distributions, but things are heating up in the GTSF offices...
We've got 10 distributions still on the spring 2017 calendar and preparations for our 9th Annual Evening of Heart n' Sole fundraising party at the M Resort are in full swing.
Our Heart n' Sole Silent Auction Committee hit the ground running last month and set their sights on creating some pretty incredible silent and live auction packages for our guests! If you haven't been to this event before, get your table or tickets NOW -- we're almost SOLD OUT!!
It will be hot soon enough here in the valley! Come on out and make a difference in the fresh cool air!! We hope to see you at one of our events soon!

Ahoy... Me Hearties, Pirates & Pearls, it's time to weigh anchor and chart your course for GTSF's 2017 Heart n' Sole event!
Join us for a night of merriment, fine grog, tasty grub, lively entertainment by Vegas' best all-request rock band, Vegas Limit, and amazing, one-of-a-kind silent and live auction treasures - all benefiting Goodie Two Shoes. Great Vegas Festival of Beer is Back!
We're expecting sunny skies for this beautiful April weekend! If you aren't already planning to attend this incredible event, then consider joining us a volunteer!
The Great Vegas Festival of Beer is debuting their Mad Craft Experience on Friday, April 7th and their annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer on Saturday, April 8th! Once again, GTSF will be providing volunteers to help check-in their more than 7,500 beer lovers! Be on the lookout for emails to volunteer on April 7th and April 8th! Your gift of time will result in a nice Festival of Beer donation to GTSF!!

Silverton Hotel Casino Recruited Santa to Raise Funds for GTSF!
A big thank you to the Silverton Hotel Casino for hosting Breakfast with Santa, Underwater Santa, and a number of other internal and external holiday events to provide up to 400 kids at Paradise Elementary School with new shoes and socks!! Thanks for making the holidays bright and taking the spirit of the season into the new year, Silverton!! We can't wait to work with your team again!

Volunteer of the Month
MARLEEN W
Last school year, Marleen joined us at 14 of our 25 annual shoe distributions. This year, she's already been to 13!
Marleen is a rock star volunteer who always happily helps out at whatever station she's assigned to for the day! Most often, you'll find her at our sock station, where she makes sure all 400 of the day's kiddos receive their 6 new pairs of socks and are ready to step into the trailer to pick out their very own new pair of shoes! She's funny, full of energy, and great with the kids.
Marleen, thank you for all of your dedication to GTSF!

Got clean, over-sized baskets at your house?
Donate them to GTSF...
GTSF is in need of LARGE/EXTRA LARGE baskets and giving basins for our annual Heart n' Sole event! We need baskets, wooden wine boxes, and other unique basket "vessels" for our awesome auction packages!
If you have a basket to donate, give us a call at (702) 617-4027 to set up a time to drop it off, or bring it with you to the next distribution. It's a great way to re-purpose for good!
