We strive to provide new shoes, socks, and more to 10,000 disadvantaged children each school year!
Since 2003, GTSF has served 76,016 Southern Nevada children in need!

Greetings!
With Thanksgiving behind us and a new year ahead, we want to take this opportunity to wish you good health, happiness and prosperity in the New Year!
We are so grateful for the incredible community support you provided to GTSF in 2016. Without amazing community partners like Zappos.com, 6pm.com, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, USAA Bank, Hakkasan Group, Wells Fargo, Sahara Coin, the M Resort and many, many more, and the help of caring and generous individuals like YOU, we'd never be able to positively impact so many Southern Nevada children in need. From our 25 annual shoe distribution events to our 8th Annual Heart n' Sole PARTY last May to the terrible break-in in June, your support in 2016 kept us moving forward -- even hitting the incredible milestone of outfitting our 75,000th child in need on December 2nd!! Thank you for believing in us and thank you for sharing in our passion!
As we step into 2017, we'll be kickin' it with another 25 shoe distributions and the renewed goal of outfitting 10,000 more children in need. We'll also hoist the sails at our 9th Annual Heart n' Sole party on May 13 and be a featured charity at Mondays Dark in September! It's going to be a BIG year with thousand more smiling faces and dancing feet, and we look forward to you once again being a part of it!
Keep putting your best foot forward and stay warm on these cold desert days! We'll see you again soon...

Hakkasan Gave Back BIG!
On September 12th, the Hakkasan Group launched their 2016 #HakkasanGivesBack campaign with proceeds benefiting GTSF! We were blown away by the incredible support we received from their employees, managers, team leaders and executives. They raised a hugely impactful $55,000 for GTSF and the children we serve AND 141 Hakkasan employee volunteers donated 590.5 hours of their time to make a difference one-on-one with 1,600 children in need.
We are incredibly thankful for such amazing funding support and humbled by the generous gifts of time, with some employees joining us straight from a night of work! You may work after dark but you sure know how to bring light into the day!

Raising Cane's Does it Again!
We are so thankful for our amazing Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers collaborative partnership! Through their annual $1 Donation Drive, the teams at 11 Las Vegas Cane's locations collected $36,800 for GTSF.
And, on December 15th, the Raising Cane's employee team joined GTSF and players from San Diego State and the University of Houston, in town for the Las Vegas Bowl, to make the holidays merry for more than 800 of our community's most needy students!
Thank you, Cane's for putting your best foot forward!!! You not only created huge impact but memories to last a lifetime!

Want to get more involved with Goodie Two Shoes? GTSF is currently seeking interested friends and fans to join our annual gala's event committee. Check out these quick videos from year's past:
Committee members help facilitate ticket and table sales and/or procure our awesome silent and live auction items. We meet approximately every two week January through April. If you love Goodie Two Shoes and are willing to "make asks" on our behalf to make a difference, then we need you!!

Ahoy... Me Hearties, Pirates & Pearls, it's time to weigh anchor and chart your course for GTSF's 2017 Heart n' Sole event!
Join us for a night of merriment, fine grog, tasty grub, lively entertainment by Vegas' best all-request rock band, Vegas Limit, and amazing, one-of-a-kind silent and live auction treasures - all benefiting Goodie Two Shoes. Dress is always fashionably casual but this year, we also welcome all Hearties, Pirates & Pearls! Don't miss the boat...get onboard!

Volunteers of the Month
GTSF Interns
If you have been to GTSF shoe distribution event this year, then you have definitely met a few of our UNLV Engelstad Scholar interns. Andre, Apollo, Fadi, and Rodney are four of our Red Shirts who fill in at distributions wherever they are needed most. They assist with set-up and tear-down as well as key positions. In addition, they work in the GTSF warehouse to help our small staff of four clean and prepare the trailer for each week's distribution, process inventory, and support our special events.
In the past year, our interns have given over 450 hours of their time to GTSF as part of their UNLV Engelstad Scholar scholarship program!
Thank you INTERNS for your dedication and commitment to GTSF and the kids we serve!!

Please DON'T get rid of those holiday baskets!
Donate them to GTSF...
Any time you receive a LARGE or EXTRA LARGE gift basket over the holidays, don't throw it away or shove it in a closet or garage. Donate it to GTSF!
GTSF is in need of LARGE/EXTRA LARGE baskets and giving basins for our annual Heart n' Sole event! We need baskets, wooden wine boxes, and other unique basket "vessels" for our awesome auction packages!
If you have a basket to donate, give us a call at (702) 617-4027 to set up a time to drop it off, or bring it with you to the next distribution. It's a great way to re-purpose for good!
